Back in 2017, TEMPLESPA made available a limited edition mini-kit, containing everything needed to create a home spa version of our in spa treatment, the TOTALLY QUENCHED & DRENCHED Rehydrating Facial for Thirsty Skin.

TEMPLESPA also included a blog post detailing how to do precisely that, which I have reproduced here, with a couple of minor tweaks to bring it in line with my blog’s aesthetic.

Meanwhile, even though the TOTALLY QUENCHED & DRENCHED Kit is no longer available, the treatment that inspired it remains a favourite in our spas, and I can show you how to DIY it.

Totally Quenched and Drenched Routine

IN THE BEGINNING Deep Cleansing Melt

Cleansing should always be the first step of your routine, whether you are prepping your skin for the day, for a mask or for bed. IN THE BEGINNING is designed to kick off your regime and leave skin feeling dewy and glowing with health and vitality. It is a concentrated balm that gives that ‘just had a facial’ feeling. Its buttery-crystalline texture melts as you massage it in, delivering an anti-ageing blend of Mediterranean ingredients for a nutritious, intense cleanse.

If you are a fan of double cleansing, IN THE BEGINNING is the perfect cleanser to use as the first step of your cleansing as it works to break down dirt and impurities. It is also ideal to use as your second cleanse to polish skin and leave it hydrated, smooth, supple and looking radiant.

QUENCH Rejuvenating Mask

Masks shouldn’t be optional extras they can be an important part of your regime, acting as targeted treatment for specific skin concerns. QUENCH is a luxurious mask that leaves skin plump, soft and glowing with youthful radiance.

Skin should always be cleansed prior to applying a mask to ensure that the mask can penetrate the skin. After cleansing and toning skin, apply a teaspoonful amount onto dampened skin and gently massage. Leave on for 10 minutes and follow with a hydrating moisturiser. 

If your skin is feeling particularly dry, apply QUENCH in lieu of your evening time moisturiser and leave on overnight to saturate your skin with moisturising goodness. Come morningtime you will wake up with super smooth, soft and fresh skin.

DOUBLE CREAM Hydrating Moisturiser

Rich, creamy and deeply moisturising, DOUBLE CREAM is the perfect way to end your routine. It sinks quickly into your skin leaving it rehydrated, glowing and full of vitality. The formula is rich in anti-ageing vitamins and fatty acids to plump, firm and revitalise dull or tired skin as well as protect it from damaging environmental factors.

DOUBLE CREAM can be used as your daily morning and evening moisturiser. It can be used after cleansing with IN THE BEGINNING and toning with TONING ESSENCE and the serum of your choice. 

For days when you are treating your skin to a face mask, follow your mask with DOUBLE CREAM to seal in the benefits of the active ingredients from your mask.

ALL TALK Moisturising Lip Balm

If lip balm is one step that you always seem to neglect no matter how many you carry around in your handbag, then incorporate it as part of your daily morning and eveningtime routine. After applying your moisturiser, massage some lip balm into lips to ensure that they stay soft and moisturised. You can kiss those dry lips goodbye with a slick of ALL TALK which is packed full of natural plant extracts, vitamins and botanicals to leave your lips sensationally soft and nourished.
