Why TEMPLESPA Attracts Celebrity Fans

The reason is simpler than you might think! No matter their fame, fortune, or following, there’s something every celebrity shares with us all: skin.

And that’s exactly why TEMPLESPA, with its results-driven treatments and luxury skincare experiences, has become a favourite for so many famous faces.

The fascination with celebrity spans centuries; from athletes to community heroes, stars of the stage and screen, to those who are “famous for being famous.” And now, I’m here with the Spalebrity tea so, let’s begin with what it actually means.

Some celebrities and make-up artists (MUAs) have their own cosmetic and/or skincare ranges, whilst others spotlight their favourite celebrity skincare products on Instagram, in press interviews, or even on screen. Naturally, with TEMPLESPA skincare and luxury spa treatments being such fabulous, niche experiences, it’s no surprise that numerous celebrities are TEMPLESPA devotees (AKA Spalebrities) — with a few even stepping up as ambassadors or consultants for the brand.

As time progressed, I felt that these references needed a makeover of their own; hence this blog post.

To begin with, I’m extending a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone featured here who got hands-on with this blog post. Your lives are super-busy and I appreciate the time you took to help me with a little extra background; you are all superstars! 🌟

📝 A Note on Transparency, Inclusion and Clarification

This blog features public figures and professional skincare experts, stylists or MUAs who have publicly mentioned and/or endorsed TEMPLESPA products. Any additional private comments have been shared with permission. There is no implication that any of those featured are my personal customers; while some may be, that remains private unless they choose to share it themselves. Similarly, not all individuals are necessarily direct TEMPLESPA customers (many first tried the products via gifted items, spa visits or professional partnerships). Where known, I’ve noted if someone is a TEMPLESPA Consultant or Ambassador, or has received a product as a gift.

Each heading is followed by a list of products that have been publicly confirmed for past or current use. I do not share any privately communicated product usage without explicit permission. Where quotes have been reproduced but TEMPLESPA or its product names were misspelled in the original copy, I’ve corrected them.

Since first publishing this page in 2020, I’ve continued to update and expand it regularly, adding new references, refining entries, and gradually swapping embedded links for screenshots of social media posts wherever possible. This approach helps the page load more smoothly and preserves the information in case original posts are deleted or accounts are made private (as has happened on a couple of occasions).

Keep in mind that throughout the skincare and well-being industry (and beyond) celebrity association is often implied without verifiable, first-person endorsement. Unless you see a direct quote, interview or authenticated social-media post showing the celebrity using (or having used) a product, take any celebrity ‘fans’ or ‘as used by’ claims with a pinch of salt. There’s a world of difference between a marketing line that says, ‘Our serum is just like the one Jennifer Aniston uses,’ and an actual statement from Jennifer Aniston herself. Always look for hard evidence (direct quotes, tagged posts, or reputable third-party coverage) before taking any celebrity endorsement at face value.

📝 Clarifications and Common Misunderstandings ↩︎

While I do my best to present accurate, well-sourced information, occasional mix-ups or rumors can arise. For those wondering why I haven’t simply asked TEMPLESPA directly: like any reputable brand, they wouldn’t (and shouldn’t) share customer information, celebrity or otherwise and I wouldn’t presume to ask. Unless a TEMPLESPA product has been publicly named by a celebrity, MUA or stylist, I’ve treated that relationship as private by default.

If you’re a public figure or industry professional who uses TEMPLESPA and would like to be included in a future update, or if you’d prefer something to be removed, or have spotted an error, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m committed to keeping this post accurate, respectful and up to date.

To that end, here are a few examples that deserve such clarification:

❌ Lady Gaga

THE CONTOURIST Firming & Radiance Boosting Serum Mask

Lady Gaga was pictured on Instagram wearing a sheet face mask, but no brand was identified in the original post. The post was subsequently shared by TEMPLESPA. However, there is no confirmed evidence that the mask was from TEMPLESPA or specifically THE CONTOURIST. Unless stated otherwise by Lady Gaga any assumptions should be treated as unverified.

❌ Olivia Rodrigo

GOOD HAIR DAY Frequent Use Shampoo

In a WIRED Autocomplete Interview, Olivia was asked:

“What shampoo does Olivia Rodrigo use?”
She replied:
“It’s called Good Hair Day. Someone gave it to me once and I just went with it.”

This led some to believe she was referring to GOOD HAIR DAY shampoo by TEMPLESPA, sparking a surge in interest. However, a Reddit user claimed her hairstylist later clarified that she was actually referring to Perfect hair Day™ by Living Proof:

I have not been able to verify this with a direct source or screenshot. If you have one, I would love to include it, please do get in touch. For now, this appears to be a simple case of mistaken identity rather than a confirmed endorsement of TEMPLESPA.

❌ Various Other Celebrity Mentions Including: Heidi Klum, Adele, Geri Halliwell, Paris Hilton and Rita Ora in relation to THE CONTOURIST.

On April 4, 2016, TEMPLESPA shared a post listing celebrities like Heidi Klum, Adele, and Geri Halliwell alongside a mention of their sheet mask, THE CONTOURIST.

At the time, sheet masks were a major skincare trend (see previous entry for Lady Gaga), and the post highlights that popularity. However, it does not (nor intended to) confirm that any of the named celebrities used TEMPLESPA products. Only THE CONTOURIST is mentioned by name, and no direct endorsements are made.
